Don’t Let Your Photos Be Deleted!

I just received this email from RitzPix moments ago with the Subject Line “Your Images will be deleted!”. I wasn’t worried however, because I have SmugMug:

RitzPix Threatening to Delete Photos
Certainly, I was not exactly a happy camper. Apparently, if you don’t log in at least once every 6 months, they reserve the right to delete all your photos. Worse yet, I have heard that Kodak sometimes will delete photos without even sending you an email. Certainly not good news.
Why wasn’t I worried? Because I have SmugMug. Sure, it costs a couple bucks a year (about $3 a month), but I never have to worry about them deleting my pictures, I know they are safe and sound. Plus, the galleries look really cool, and its really easy to share with my friends and family.
